18th to 19thCedar Key39th Annual Cedar Key Seafood Festival
9:00 AM until 5:00 PM each day. This major event features well over 200 arts and crafts exhibits, and great local seafood food in City Park. There will be live musical entertainment at several places around town during the days and nights, and a parade on Saturday morning.

In addition on this weekend, there is an open house at the lighthouse on Seahorse Key, the big island 3 miles to the west of Cedar Key. Explore the light, look at the exhibits and wander this beautiful island. Shuttle boats are available at City Marina. Be sure to remember your camera and binoculars!

The 24th annual Gilchrist County Downhome Days will be October 25th 9am till 3pm. Its held on the 10 acre property 2 miles west of the traffic light in Trenton on Highway 26. 100 booths of arts and crafts, food and entertainment.
29thCedar Key City ParkFive Points of Life Bike Ride
Cedar Key, Florida will be the location of the Five Points of Life Bike Ride closing ceremonies on Oct 29th. LifeSouth Community Blood Centers invites all Cedar Key and Levy County Residents to join us from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on October 29th at the local park in Cedar Key. LifeSouth will be serving food and drinks as the Steve Crews Band plays. Please come support and cheer our riders as they complete a 2,000 mile/29 day bike ride that day. As well please consider giving blood that day as a LifeSouth Bloodmobile will be there ready to accept donations.
